Reading in Chestnut Class
All children have a reading book. Children should have a separate clear book folder in school every day in order to protect the books and this will carry their reading book, a library book and High Frequency words they are learning. Reading forms part of the homework and is encouraged at home as much as possible. We also use Bug Club reading online ( Please ask for log in details) We also use your child’s reading folder to send any letters or information to and from school so please check it daily. Please fill your child`s reading record book in daily as a record of when your child has read to you.
Please use these useful links to aid your child`s learning.
