The message service is set up for our class and I can answer any messages between 7.30-8am and 3.30pm and 6pm. Please use this to let us know about any issues you think would be important to us .You can also find out about what is going on in school, through regular newsletters, texts and our school website. However please feel free to contact us via the office, should you need to.
Reading in Chestnut Class
All children have a reading book. Children should have a separate clear book folder in school every day in order to protect the books and this will carry their reading book, a library book and words they are learning. Reading forms part of the homework and is encouraged at home as much as possible. We also use Bug Club reading online ( login details to follow) We also use your child’s reading folder to send any letters or information to and from school so please check it daily.
